Isaac Regional Council makes every effort to ensure community members are notified when water restrictions come into effect in their area, but we still need your help to spread this important message.
Water restrictions are currently in place in Clermont, Middlemount, Carmila and St Lawrence. All other towns within the Isaac region are asked to adhere to water conservation measures on Council’s website.
Water restrictions are advertised through Council’s website, Facebook page, local newsletters and a letterbox drop (from Level 2 only), however we encourage residents to share these important messages with their families, friends, workmates and neighbours given the drought conditions the Isaac region is facing.
To reinforce these messages, Council employees will be out and about from Friday 17 January 2020, across the region to remind residents of the restrictions.
During water restrictions, residents and business owners are asked to adhere to specific watering days, times and conditions to ensure town water supplies are kept to an acceptable level.
Water is essential to everyday life but to manage our water resources sustainably we all need take care to manage our water usage in the home, garden and business.
Conserving water means using our water supply wisely while at the same time maintaining our great lifestyle - every little bit helps.
