Brenshaw Medical would like to welcome the community of Condobolin back to Melrose St Medical
Centre.
We will be taking appointments only from the 27th January, as the clinic is setting up, please feel
free to come into the clinic, say hello and register your details with us.
Melrose St Medical Centre will be opening its door again on 3rd February 2020 and we would like to
inform the community that we have secured two fulltime permanent Doctors for the practice. Dr
David Cheah will commence working on the 3rd of February and with our second doctor to
commence on 13th March 2020.
These two fulltime GPs will bring a vast amount of experience and qualifications with them that will
benefit the community and hopefully patients will not have to travel out of town for basic health
needs. Their long-term goals is to settle in Condobolin and provide continuity of care to the
community – we are hoping the lovely community of the Lachlan shire will welcome and support
Melrose Street Medical Centre.
We have been in touch with Dr Kate Hawkins and she will also be practicing at our medical centre on
a more frequent basis, providing GP services and women's health.
Lee-Anne Denyer will continue the role of Practice Manager and has been working with Brenshaw
medical over the Christmas and New Year period in re-opening the Medical Centre.
We will still have all Allied Health Services in place for our patients and look forward to making
improvements and building on this area in the future. Podiatry appointments are available for
Feburary. We would like to remind all patients that referrals are needed for these services so please
book an appointment with our wonderful doctors to arrange the paperwork for you.
We are currently refurnishing the building to ensure it is ready for 3rd of February and we look
forward to this new beginning and providing Condobolin with excellent health care.
