The City of Swan is proud to present the 2020 Thinking Green series, with another busy line-up of free, sustainable living workshops on offer.
Thinking Green aims to help people learn more about giving back to the environment, including how to make sustainable lifestyle changes.
The series is held at the City's libraries and other local venues from January to June each year.
City of Swan Mayor Kevin Bailey said the workshops not only help you make a difference to the planet, but can save you money in the long run.
"We have workshops that can help you save money on household bills, learn DIY skincare techniques, bike maintenance, and gardening on a budget," he said.
"Thinking Green has been very popular with our community since it was introduced in 2014, helping us all to reduce our impact on the environment.
"We're proud to build on it each year with new topics about sustainable living.
"At the end of the day, it's about making small changes - if we all do a little bit, together we can make a real change."
Whiteman Ward Councillor Bryce Parry said there are workshops for all ages and interests.
"We’re also introducing April School Holiday workshops - kids can try their hand at creating something from recycled materials, make a scarecrow or learn more about caring for wildlife."
