Wollondilly Shire Council is offering free pool entry for seniors during the month of February in celebration of Seniors Festival 2020.
Seniors are encouraged to get active during the month of February by getting along to their local pool to swim or do some gentle exercise in a lane.
Seniors who live in Wollondilly will be eligible to access free entry into Wollondilly Leisure Centre and Warragamba Pools by registering their details upon arrival.
Wollondilly Mayor, Matthew Deeth said “We were blown away that an overwhelming 1500 seniors accessed free swimming in 2019, so Council has again opened the pools to allow our seniors to get active and social this year. Alongside free swimming, Council is proud to be partnering with local seniors services and community groups to promote one-off events and ongoing activities. Seniors are encouraged to get out, be active and enjoy what seniors festival in Wollondilly has to offer”.
