The rain received over the last few days has not changed the need to save water at Bonalbo.
For the current Level 4 water restrictions to be lifted, Peacock Creek must be flowing and storage in the dam must be greater than 25 ML.
Peacock Creek is now flowing, however the dam still does not have the 25ml storage required to lift the Level 4 restrictions.
Council is closely monitoring the situation, and will lift the Level 4 restrictions should conditions improve further.
Until then, drinking water for the community remains a priority and we remind people that a consumption target for the Bonalbo supply of 91 Kl a day is still required.
The pool remains closed while the Level 4 restrictions are in place.
