Author Talk: Craig Castree comes to town

If you’re looking to transform your garden into a beautiful and organic space, growing fruit and vegetables for the whole family – head to Manor Lakes Library next month to hear from one of the best in the business.

Craig Castree will be visiting the Library on Saturday 15th February 2020 for an Author Talk, discussing his book Edible Gardens: A Practical Guide from 10.30am.

Wyndham City Environment and Sustainability Portfolio Holder, Cr Heather Marcus, said the session was guaranteed to be interesting and educational.

“We know Craig Castree from the TV program Vasili’s Garden to Kitchen, where he teaches viewers how to graft and care for fruit trees,” Cr Marcus said.

“He’s now released his first book, sharing his views on why those with a green thumb should steer away from traditional vegetable gardens, and consider his approach for a more productive and healthier garden.”

“I have no doubt that Craig will share plenty of tips with us on fruit and herbs, how to care for your garden in an organic way, and growing vegetables – leading us to rethink the way we grow our own food.”
