A total of 3419 head of cattle were consigned at Roma's store sale on Tuesday. Weaner steers under 220kg topped at 282c and averaged 262c, weaner steers 220-280kg reached 318c and averaged 284c. Steers 280- 350kg reached 322c and averaged 295c, and steers 350-400kg reached 322c and averaged 307c. Feeder steers 400-550kg topping at 321c and averaging 306c. Cows and calves hit $800/unit.

Bass Cattle Co, Muldoon, Mungallala sold Santa steers to 322c, reaching a top of $1627 to average $1220. The Santa heifers sold to 304c, reaching a top of $1547 to average $1081.

L and L Cormack, Crystalbrook, Wallumbilla sold Charolais cross steers to 321c, reaching a top of $1758 to average $1664. The Charolais cross heifers sold to 305c, reaching a top of $1713 to average $1713. The Charolais cross cows sold to 257c, reaching a top of $1838 to average $1513.
