Baw Baw Shire Council has shared over $22,000 to support a wide range of community events and local ambassadors through the Community Sponsorship program.
Through the Community Sponsorship program, individuals, groups, non-profits and sports people/teams can apply for funds for activities that support vibrant community outcomes for people in Baw Baw Shire.
Funding is available for community groups to deliver community events (up to $5,000) and also for Baw Baw ambassadors (up to $500 for individuals and $1,500 for groups/teams) for residents competing in or participating in an event representing Baw Baw Shire.
Each financial year, four rounds of Community Sponsorship are available with applications opening in July, October, January and April.
