The Gannawarra Library Service will be taking its popular Story Time program outdoors this February, with two special sessions planned for Gannawarra Shire Council’s outdoor pools. Splish Splash Story Time sessions will be held at the Kerang Swimming Pool on Wednesday, 5 February at 10am, with the Cohuna Swimming Pool hosting its session on Friday, 14 February at 10am. “The Gannawarra Library Service is proud to be holding these special Splish Splash Story Time sessions at our local pools,” Gannawarra Library Service Manager, Kerri Sidorow said.
“Designed for pre-school aged children, the Story Time program is a fun and special sharing time where children and caregivers can establish a love of books and reading.”
“The Splish Splash Story Time sessions will include songs chosen to promote early swimming skills like blowing bubbles, putting your head under water and kicking, as well as a special swimming-themed story.” Admission to both pools will be free between 10am and 11am on the day of each session.
