MDMS presents ‘40 Years of Broadway’ at the Karralyka

From Les Misérables and Moulin Rouge, to Mamma Mia! and The Lion King, relive some of Broadway musicals’ greatest songs from the past 40 years in one special show coming to the Karralyka - 

Prepare to be transported to another time as the Mountain District Musical Society (MDMS) brings you 40 Years of Broadway, featuring the songs and showtunes from some of the longest-running musicals ever to hit Broadway.

Relive the classics from Broadway’s Golden Age to the newest hits and back again in a thrilling and moving evening that will leave you breathless one minute and stomping your feet the next.

Be memerised by powerful theatrical musical numbers including ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ (Les Misérables) and ‘Circle of Life’ (The Lion King), to the emotionally-charged and energizing tunes of Broadway’s jukebox musicals ‘I Wanna Rock’ (Rock of Ages) and ‘Mamma Mia’ (Mamma Mia!).

Directed by MDMS’ Natasha Bassett (Australian actress, screenwriter and director), 40 Years of Broadway will bring back memories of the fantastic musical numbers you’ve seen and heard and have you adding new show to your ‘must-see’ list.
