An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Irrigation System Maintainer to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in Moranbah. The position sits within our Parks and Recreation Department who are collectively responsible for maintenance of all parks, gardens and reserves throughout the Isaac Regional Council.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this position is responsible for the for the repair, maintenance and upgrades of irrigation systems in the Parks and Recreation areas throughout Moranbah.
Suitable candidates will have:
Relevant certificate or qualifications relevant to irrigation maintenance; Proven experience installing, repairing and maintaining various styles of irrigation systems; Experience working with and monitoring AC and DC system controllers; Experience cleaning, repairing and maintaining filtration systems; Australian Open C Class driver’s licence; Construction Blue/White Card; Sound literacy and numeracy skills; and Personal initiative, motivation and drive.For this position we offer:
Salary $54,467.12 per annum + allowances Nominally 38 hours per week 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading 12% super in accordance with Council policy Nine-day fortnight in accordance with Council policyPosition Description
