Public Information Forum - End-of-Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Bill 2020

The Hon. Mike Gaffney MLC will be presenting public forums throughout Tasmania in February 2020, with a forum to be held at the Scottsdale LINC, 51 King Street on Wednesday 19 February from 1.30pm. The aim of the forum is to present the End-of-Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Bil 2020 (draft) which he intends to introduce into the Upper House (Legislative Council) in August 2020. The forums will provide background information regarding Voluntary Assisted Dying – internationally, nationally and locally, the main principles and strategies detailed in the draft Bill and Mr Gaffney will also outline the Parliamentary processes the Bill will follow.
