Murder Mystery Evening | Redcliffe Museum

On Valentine’s night, the Redcliffe Museum will transform into a boat sailing the seven seas. But someone has fallen overboard! Were they pushed? Was it an accident? You must collect the evidence and solve the crime before it happens again!

This free 18+ only event promises an exciting night out, so dress the part and bring your wits about you! Register here.

Anti-Valentine’s Day | Pine Rivers Heritage Museum

This one-of-a-kind, pop-up museum is created by you! We provide the venue, you bring along the objects that define your history with love and loss, from blistering breakups to Tinder tragedies, and tributes to love gone astray. Whether it’s a love letter, a piece of jewellery or a stuffed toy, bring it along, add a label and place it on display.

The night’s complete with a cool beverage and live performance, so bring your mementos and some light-hearted fun. It’s free to participate, just RSVP here.

Valentine’s Day for All | Caboolture Hub

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in vivid colour at the Caboolture Hub with a program of events made with love. Families, couples, singles and everyone in between are welcome to join in the activities with live music, hands-on art workshops, games and tours of our summer exhibition John Rigby: Monumental Colour.

The exhibition itself explores the life and art of John Rigby as told through the stories and memories of his three children, Mark, Renee and Tony (pictured below), for the first time — a touching journey through the perspective of John Rigby’s most near and dear. Register here.

Date Night at the Library | Bribie Island and Redcliffe

Come and celebrate Library Lovers Day (also on 14 February!) with us at Redcliffe and Bribie Island Libraries. You can watch ‘His Girl Friday’, a classic 1940’s black and white film or book in a date with a new novel. Don’t miss out, secure your spot at Bribie Island or Redcliffe.

Folk Dancing | Samford Farmers Hall

Try your hand at something new this Valentine’s Day with a Community Folk Dance session through our Healthy Active Moreton program. Everyone can get involved with easy dances set to live music, with a fun historical twist. The evening will include a variety of romantic dances, including the Island of Love dance from 1775, and will be followed by tea and supper. Groups, couples and individuals are all welcome, it’s the perfect setting to meet new people and get moving.

The session is delivered by Early Australia Colonial Dance and is only $4 per person, book your spot here.
