Boulia Shire Council said it would like to extend a good old hearty Australian congratulations to all the winners of their recent Australia Day Awards. Citizen of the Year was Jack Neilson. Young Citizen of the Year went to Eliana Karra. Event of the Year: Man With A Pram, a Father's Day fundraiser/ Organisation of the Year was Boulia Rodeo Association. Senior Sportsperson of the Year went to cameleer Dannileah Stewart. Junior Sportsperson of the Year was Connor Hindom. Spirit of Boulia Award went to Toby Harris. This year's Boulia Australia Day Ambassador was Gitie House, president of the multicultural society in Toowoomba.
