Town Entrance Signage Guidelines

Published on 11 February 2020

Public feedback is being sought to aid in the development of our region’s first dedicated set of Town Entrance Signage Guidelines.

Mildura Rural City Council is developing the Guidelines to assist the community with the process of updating or creating town entrance signage when there is an identified need.

Town entrance signage helps inform visitors to a community, while helping them navigate unfamiliar environments.

More importantly, eye-catching town signage creates a sense of identity and pride for townships.

Council is developing the guidelines in consultation with VicRoads and the community.

Once finalised, the Guidelines will act as a one-stop shop of information for community groups, businesses or individuals interesting in designing, manufacturing and installing new town entrance signage, or updating existing signage.

Residents can visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/townentrancesignage to have their say by completing a short survey.

The survey will close Monday 30 March 2020.
