Campaspe Shire Council is seeking applications from schools, community groups or organisations interested in running an event during Victorian Youth Week (3 – 12 April).
Economic and Community Development General Manager, Keith Oberin said it is a great opportunity for the community to support our young people, working in partnership to deliver events and activities during the week long celebrations.
“Grants up to $500 are available and can be used for a variety of activities such as movie or games nights, art exhibitions, musical performances, sporting events or bus trips,” Mr Oberin said.
There are six grants available, with a range of criteria to be met including events must be:
alcohol, smoke and drug free accessible to all young people based in Campaspe Shire during Victorian Youth Week.Grants should empower young people, providing them with the opportunity to plan, deliver and attend various events.
Applications are now open and close at 5pm on Friday, 6 March. Application forms are available on Council’s website or by contacting Community Programs Officer, Ben Hearn on 5481 2200 or email [email protected].
