Lithgow, Portland and Wallerawang Libraries will soon be holding technology classes for seniors focusing on the Seniors Card Website and NSW transport apps.
“Digital skills are essential in today’s society which is why Tech Savvy Seniors sessions that provide opportunities for seniors to become computer literate are always very popular. The upcoming classes will extend the knowledge level of seniors who already have some technology basics,” said Mayor Ray Thompson.
The session will focus on navigating through the Seniors Card Website & the NSW Transport apps. To complement the session and assist seniors an introduction to the Regional Seniors Travel Card will be provided.
These workshops will be held at Lithgow Library on Tuesday 25 February at 2:00pm, Wallerawang Library on Wednesday 26 February at 2:00pm, and Portland Library on Thursday 27 February at 2:00pm.
The sessions are designed as an introduction and you do not need to be internet connected or have a device. However, to get the most out of the session please contact the library for an information flyer. Afternoon tea will be provided; bookings are essential and can be made by contacting the Lithgow Library on 6352 9100.
