Residents who have elected to pay their rates in a lump sum are reminded they have until Monday, 17 February to make their payment.
This date does not apply to residents who have been making quarterly instalments. The due date for the third rate instalment is Friday, 28 February.
Revenue raised through rates serves a vital role, enabling Mildura Rural City Council to provide services, programs and facilities for the community and represents about half of Council’s annual revenue.
Rates can be paid in person at Council’s Madden Avenue, Deakin Avenue and Ouyen Service Centres by cash, cheque, money order or EFTPOS between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Alternatively, residents can pay online using BPAY, Australia Post Billpay or over the phone by calling 13 18 16. Payments can also be made by presenting your rates notice at any Australia Post outlet.
Residents experiencing difficulty paying their rates are urged to contact Council to make alternative arrangements by calling (03) 5018 8100.
