Published on 13 February 2020

As the rain continues to fall Rocky Creek Dam is 100% full with water flowing over the spillway and restrictions have been lifted for Byron, Ballina, Lismore and Richmond Valley Council areas.

Water restrictions have also been lifted for Mullumbimby with the Lavertys Gap weir overflowing.

Rous County Council, the regional water supply authority, said the heavy rainfall last night filled the Rocky Creek Dam with 300mm flowing over the spillway this morning (13 February).
