Workers and visitors to the Ballarat Central Business District will have another long stay free parking option with the opening of the new car park at the Eastern Oval.
The 175-space car park provides free all-day off street car spaces for workers, residents and visitors who can now access the city more easily and more conveniently.
The car spaces will relieve pressure for the car park at the Ballarat Railway Station and provide more options for residents commuting from the Station.
On weekends, the new car park will provide a much-needed facility for motorists attending or participating in sports games and events at the Eastern Oval.
The new car park was funded by the Victorian Government as part of the City of Ballarat’s plan for another 1,000 car parks in the Ballarat.
