Isaac Regional Council would like to advise residents that a special round of community grants is opening for local interest groups and organisations wanting to stage events and activities that celebrate the good old days of Moranbah on the May Day long weekend 2020 in recognition of the town’s 50th anniversary.
Grant applications will close: 5pm Monday, 17 February 2020
$25,000 has been made available to provide individual grants of up to $5000 for supporting events and activities that coincide with the Moranbah Good Old Days event being hosted by locals, Mark and Toni Hollands on the May Day long weekend.
Interested applicants are encouraged to host events and activities from Friday 1 – Monday 4 May that celebrate the community spirit of Moranbah and reflect the proud history, cultural values, diversity and lifestyle of the town.
