Keith Potger, co-founding member and guitarist with internationally-famous Australian pop act The Seekers, will perform at Ouyen’s Roxy Theatre on Saturday 7 March.
An artist known to countless music fans around the world, this will be Keith’s second solo performance at the iconic Ouyen venue following a stellar show in 2016.
Councillor for Arts and Culture Jason Modica said Keith’s return to the Roxy wasn’t just at the request of local music fans asking for a repeat performance.
“Keith actually enjoyed his previous show so much at the Roxy, which is a truly unique and historic venue, that he was keen to return,” Cr Modica said.
A huge hit with audiences wherever he plays, Keith’s show – Melodies and Memories - promises a night full of entertainment.
From old favourites from The Seekers’ vast repertoire, a touch of Nashville and some beautiful original works, through to covers of favourite hits from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s, Melodies and Memories will touch on a broad range of genres.
Audiences will also be able to listen to Keith’s unique stories and anecdotes from over 50 years performing on the international stage.
Accompanied by his trusty 12 and six-string guitars, as well as his ukulele, Keith’s upbeat and heart-warming show will have audiences re-living memories from the past while exploring this international artist’s new solo catalogue.
Tickets are just $25 each and include a complimentary light supper. Tickets are available from the Mildura Arts Centre or at the Roxy theatre on the night.
