Snowy Monaro Regional Council is encouraging the community to provide feedback on the current resource and waste management services offered by Council.

The community’s feedback will be used to develop Council’s Resource and Waste Management Strategy, an important document that will outline the community’s expectations for resource and waste management services over the next decade.

The strategy will cover all areas of resource and waste management including waste facilities, composting, kerbside collection, bank of bins, education, waste diversion and avoidance, recycling and site rehabilitation.

Council is asking the community for their feedback via online and hardcopy surveys.

Council will host a series of community consultation sessions where an overview of local, regional and national resource and waste management issues will be provided. The sessions will allow the community to have their say on resource and waste management services in the region.

The survey will open on Thursday 20 February 2020 and will close midnight Monday 16 March 2020,

Surveys can be completed online at Your Say Snowy Monaro, link below or hardcopy available at all Council offices and waste facilities.
