Arabian nights

Discover the delights of the rich Arabic culture and its traditions.

This event focuses on building intercultural relationships. Western Sydney Community Centre invites seniors and their families from different multicultural backgrounds to learn about Arabic culture and traditions.

On the night, you'll enjoy a screening of ‘1001 Nights’, a documentary that highlights some of the discoveries and contributions made during the creative golden age of Muslim civilisation that stretched from Spain to China in the early 11th and 12th Centuries. There will also be traditional foods and instrumental music for all to enjoy.
