First Bulky Waste Collection for the year scheduled for the 16 March 2020.
Lithgow Council wishes to advise residents of the first free bulky waste collection scheduled to commence on 16 March 2020. Anyone who wishes to take advantage of this service should, by midday on Friday the 13 March 2020, contact Council’s Customer Service Office on 6354 9999 or alternatively you may register on Council’s website www.council.lithgow.com (by midday 13th March 2020). Then, on the night before Monday 16th March 2020, leave their bulky waste adjacent to where they would normally place their garbage bin for pickup.
Bulky items will be collected providing they can be picked up by two men and any cases, boxes, cartons etc should be securely tied. No liquid or chemical items will be collected, nor will any items requiring the use of a shovel.
