Council advises Clermont residents as part of our continued activities to maintain water clarity, there will be additional mains flushing this week (Monday 24th February).
We are aware of instances of water discoloration occurring and residents may experience instances of water discolouration in town water supply while the issue is being addressed.
Regular water samples are taken from the water network and these results confirm that the discolouration does not affect the safety of the water. Council will continue to collect additional samples to reaffirm these results.
When water quality or quantity issues arise we have 24 hour response capability. Often the solution is able to be implemented quickly if we are alerted to any issues that arise.
