In a first-time partnership with Pinarc Disability Support, the Ballarat Begonia Festival Trail will this year feature 12 nautical hand-made creatures hidden in the Botanical Gardens for young visitors to find and be in the running for a $3000 travel voucher from Lifestyle Travel.
The talented participants in Pinarc’s art classes are be putting the finishing touches to these amazing creatures – including a giant octopus to a bikini-clad penguin - and have revealed their handy work to Cr Samantha McIntosh.
If you are heading to the Ballarat Begonia Festival this March long weekend (7-9) collect your trail map and clues from the information marquee just outside the Robert Clark Centre and try and find all the hidden nautical creatures throughout the Botanical Gardents.
