Rock and Roll On into Freo for the Highway to Hell After Party

This Sunday 1 March, Perth Festival brings you Highway to Hell: a celebration of the legendary Bon Scott through music, food, activities and—of course— rock ‘n’ roll. This long weekend event is sure to be a non-stop celebration, with over 100,000 people expected to experience history as Canning Highway gets taken over with Aussie musicians giving their salute to Bon Scott on a moving stage.

Highway to Hell Pre-Party

Looking for a Highway to Hell pre-party?  The Fremantle Arts Centre is putting on a party to complement your Highway to Hell celebrations, running from 2-4pm. Located at the Front Garden, The Little Lord Street Band and the Western Australia Police Pipe Band will start your night. Entry is free, with wood fired pizzas and drinks available at the bar. Don’t forget your picnic blanket!

The Newport Hotel

Time to party at The Newport’s front bar. Enjoy free entry all night, $7 VB pints and Bourbon and Cokes, live AC/DC music and rare AC/DC video footage on the big screen. Party on from 8pm until late.

Clancy's Fish Pub Fremantle

From 8pm Clancy’s Fish Pub Fremantle will showcase legendary WA poet, author and all round punk Dave Warner, plus a special guest DJ. Playing songs influenced by his home town and WA nostalgia, Dave Warner will be putting on a free gig set to wind us down until 11pm.

Freo.Social

For only $10 Freo.Social aims to keep the party going with Dan Howls, Last Quokka and Pat Chow playing in the Entertainment Hall from 8:30pm. Make sure to get in quick, door sales are set to be limited—additional tickets are available online through Moshtix.

Mojo’s Bar

Known for always bringing the party, Mojos are hosting their Official Mojos Bar Highway To Hell After Party, kicking off at 7pm. Come in for tunes by DJ Bee Rizzi and Billy Black before a killer set by The Southern River Band hits the stage at 9:30pm. This hell of a time is predicted to sell out fast.

Metropolis Fremantle

Head to Metropolis Fremantle after 9pm for a celebration of all things AC/DC. With free entry all night to AC/DC fans, $6 tinnies and Bourbon and Cokes, DJ’s playing AC/DC nonstop and rare video footage of the band up on the big screens, it’s going to be a wild one—just like Bon Scott would have wanted.

Ronnie Nights

How’s your air-guitar? Come down to Ronnie Nights for AC/DC karaoke all night. Show off your best Bon Scott impression and grab the mic!

The Naval Store

Kicking off at 3pm, this iconic octopus warehouse will open its doors for the first time since 1935, for a Bon Scott party. Located at the end of Highway to Hell, right next to the Rainbow stage.
