The Public Compost Toilet Facilities located at the Gleeson’s Landing and Daly Head Camp Grounds are scheduled to be refurbished commencing tomorrow. Works are anticipated to be completed before the upcoming Easter long weekend.

Estimated schedule:

27th – 28th February: Structures removed from the concrete slabs

2nd – 3rd March:  Concrete slab and system removed, new holes dug.

3rd  – 23rd March: New brick walls, new composting system and concrete slab installed

23rd –28th March: Structures replaced on the concrete slab, new internal fittings installed

30th March – 3rd April: Area cleaned up, paths installed.
