There is still time for non-profits and community groups to get applications in for two of three Community Development Grant categories.
Community Development Grants aim to provide financial assistance to deliver projects, programs, equipment or events that contribute to the community.
Two of the three categories are still open, details as follows:
Category Description Closing date Environment Provides up to $5,000 for activities that will enhance a community group’s capacity to run or promote programs with a benefit to the environment. Applicants can propose projects to support natural environment and/or capacity building from an environmental group. Projects occurring on private property are ineligible. 3.00pm on Friday 13 March 2020 Equipment This grant category will provide a maximum grant of up to $5,000 and provides equipment funding necessary for the successful operation or delivery of services for communities. 3.00pm on Friday 13 March 2020 Minor Capital Works This grant category provides for minor repairs, renovations and associated infrastructure for buildings, clubrooms, sporting and other community facilities.Expressions of interest (EOIs) have now closed.
Applications remain open for successful EOIs until 3.00pm on Friday 10 April 2020
Applications are encouraged for projects and programs that:
