Works on hold in Brighton East

The drainage and streetscape works underway in the Brighton East Village have been temporarily placed on hold. 

Despite our best efforts and planning, some complex service clashes were discovered onsite and as such have made the works unsafe to proceed. We are currently working to find a solution to connect the drainage works along the Nepean Highway with those carried out in the Hawthorn Road streetscape.

We will keep you posted of when streetscape and drainage works will resume.

We apologise for the further inconvenience due to the extended timeframe for construction and acknowledge the impact of the construction works on residents and traders.
