The cessation of all camping from Thursday 26 March is a decision made by the NSW Government. There is a compulsory Public Health Order which we are required to follow. As such, no camping or caravans are permitted at the camping ground at Gum Flat.

Failure to comply with this Order attracts penalties: For individuals, fines of up to $11,000 or 6 months’ imprisonment (or both) plus a $5,500 fine each day it continues.

Gum Flat will remain open for day recreational activities (such as fishing) that can be done while still practicing social distancing.
