Council Customer Service Counters and Foyers - Service Interruption

Council is closely monitoring the current COVID-19 pandemic and implementing responses in accordance with Federal and State Government guidelines. It is Council’s intention to take all reasonable precautions to reduce risks relating to transmission of the COVID-19 virus are managed effectively, efficiently and transparently.

In accordance with Australian Government directive issued Sunday 29 March by the Prime Minister, operations at all customer service counters and Council foyers will be suspended from close of business, Monday, 30 March 2020, until further notice.

Operations affected include:

 Customer service counters and Council foyers at Clermont, Dysart, Glenden, Middlemount, Moranbah, Nebo and St Lawrence.

Council recognises that these steps are unfortunate and may cause inconvenience, however, the decision to suspend these services indefinitely has not been taken lightly and is implemented in accordance with current Federal and State Guidelines and in the interests of the health and well-being of our residents.

Please direct all enquiries Council’s 24 hour, 7 days a week Customer Service Centre, 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227).

Council would like to apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and thank the community for their understanding at this time.
