Residents wanting to get outdoors and enjoy the natural environment can enjoy a number of activities, workshops and events in the coming months.
The Campbelltown Natural Environment Calendar includes events and activities up to June this year and features popular programs like Bush Explorers and Junior Rangers.
“Australians love spending time outdoors experiencing the bush and all our wonderful plants and animals,” Mayor George Brticevic said.
“Campbelltown is blessed with an abundance of natural bushland and a diverse array of native species,” Cr Brticevic said.
“I’d encourage everyone to check out the calendar and come along to one of the great events, you’d be surprised at all the wonders you can find in Campbelltown,” he said.
The calendar includes events hosted by Council’s natural areas team, the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan and Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living.
Other events in the calendar include:
- Dharawal Indigenous Guided Walks
- Wild Koala Day
- School holiday activities
- Gardening workshops
- Cooking workshops
