Bushfire Clean-up

The NSW and Commonwealth Governments are jointly covering the clean-up cost of insured and uninsured residential, and eligible commercial properties destroyed in the NSW bushfires.

Laing O’Rourke has been appointed by the NSW Government to coordinate the NSW Bushfire Clean-Up Program.

Laing O’Rourke representatives will be attending the Lithgow Mobile Bushfire Recovery Service:

Thursday 5 March at the Lithgow Library;

4.00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Residents with bushfire clean-up enquiries are encouraged to attend Thursday’s Mobile Bushfire Recovery Service to obtain advice from Laing O’Rourke.

Laing O’Rourke will soon be emailing affected property owners to provide further information and to advise of the launch of a new information hub which will provide regular updates and additional information regarding the works schedule. Currently the hub contains a two week “look ahead” program which Laing O’Rourke will look to expand in coming weeks.  Laing O’Rourke appreciate your patience as they work to clear thousands of properties across the State.

Clean-up works are currently underway in the Blue Mountains, Wollondilly, Wingecarribee, Lithgow, Mid North Coast and Batemans Bay areas.
