Whether you’re in agribusiness, retail, manufacturing, tourism or hospitality, if you’re a business owner, you are invited to the Council’s next Networking Business Breakfast on March 25.
Ararat Rural City Council CEO Dr Tim Harrison said Council holds the business breakfasts three to four times a year at different venues to inform, educate and inspire local business operators through guest speakers, networking and discussion.
Dr Harrison said the March 25 breakfast would include presentations from Keith Jackson from the Grampians Waste and Resource Recovery Group who will be “talking rubbish”, and Maria Whitford, president of the Greater Ararat Business (GAB) Network.
Dr Harrison would also present at the breakfast, giving an overview of the Council’s new initiatives in the economic development space.
“These breakfast events give business owners and operators from all sectors a chance to get together, have a chat, share ideas and hear some interesting updates from our speakers,” he said.
“It’s a great opportunity for the business sector to find out what’s happening on the ground while enjoying a free hot breakfast and networking with like-minded people.”
Dr Harrison said the business breakfasts are always popular with 96 attendees on average, so he encouraged people to RSVP early to secure a spot.
The March business breakfast will be held at the Alexandra Oval Community Centre, 1 Waratah Avenue, Ararat, from 7am to 8.45am on Wednesday 25 March.
Bookings are essential and places are limited. Please RSVP by 1pm on Friday 20 March to Phillippa Cairns on phone 5355 0241 or 0437 715 673, or email [email protected]
