The City has now received broad community feedback on the direction of our highest level planning document, the Strategic Community Plan (SCP).
Broad community feedback was gathered between December 2019 and February 2020 to understand what you like about the area now, as well as your thoughts for the future.
Feedback was also presented to a community panel, which comprised of around 31 people from different backgrounds.
The panel members used this feedback and other relevant information to develop some findings and recommendations which have been presented to Council and will help form the revised SCP.
The next stage of the review is to work with Councillors to determine their priorities, and then draft revisions will be made to the SCP. This draft will be made available to community for feedback in late 2020.
A summary of results from the consultation period is available here, along with background on the review.
Community feedback will be valuable in forming the long term vision and priorities of our City, and we look forward to presenting the revised Strategic Community Plan to you later this year.
In the meantime, we invite you to subscribe electronically for updates on events and projects in your area at www.swan.wa.gov.au/Subscribe
