Theft of playground equipment from Tynwald Park

Following the 3 trees being stolen from Tynwald Park in November, another spate of theft has occurred earlier this week.

This time, the metal seats and middle balance plate have been stolen from the rocker swing in one of the playgrounds, along with the seat and back rest of the long metal bench seat next to it.

Theft and vandalism like this not only affects the children and other visitors to the park, but also adds considerable cost to Council and the community to replace.
