Would you like to nominate to be a Community Grants Panel Member?

Council has endorsed a new suite of grants and funding programs which will now be assessed by Council's Community Grants Panels. The panels will consist of three councillors, two Council officers and three community members.

Council is inviting applications from interested community members to be part of the panels. People that live, work and have an active role in the Greater Dandenong community are eligible to apply.

Expressions of interest for panel members are currently open and will close on 15 March 2020.

If you need more information to be able to nominate, Council is holding the following information sessions:

Tuesday 10 March from 6pm – 7pm in room 4N1 at the Dandenong Civic Centre. Please use the lift to level 4 where you will be met by a Council officer Thursday 12 March from 3pm - 4pm in Room 2NE and 2NW at the Dandenong Civic Centre

Once Community Panel Members have been decided, those who are selected will be invited for an induction prior to accepting panel allocations. These inductions will include expectations of the panel members, processes and training on use of the SmartyGrants online program for assessments.

The dates for the induction sessions will be 26 March and 31 March. Further details will be supplied to successful panel members prior to these dates.
