Gannawarra Shire Council residents have until 5pm on Friday, 13 March 2020 to complete Council’s Community Engagement Survey.
This 10-minute survey asks how people receive information from Council, how people communicate with Council and what information people would like to receive from Council.
“Thank you to the close to 300 people who have completed the Community Engagement Survey so far,” Mayor Lorraine Learmonth said.
“Whether you have gone online to complete the survey, picked up a copy from one of Council’s Customer Service Centres or Gannawarra Library Service branches or taken part in listening post sessions at Cohuna and Kerang, your feedback is valued.
“If you have not completed the survey yet, I encourage you to do so. This is your opportunity to provide feedback to Council on a range of engagement processes.”
Copies of the survey are available from Council’s Customer Service Centres at Cohuna and Kerang, Gannawarra Library Service branches and online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/X8Y7PRP
Residents can also complete the survey at listening post sessions occurring on Thursday, 12 March at Koondrook (8.30am-9.30am outside the Koondrook Post Office) and Kerang (12 noon-1pm outside the Council Chambers).
“If you have a paper copy of the survey and are yet to complete it, I encourage you to return your copy as soon as you can,” Mayor Learmonth said.
“All responses received will assist with the development of the draft version of the Community Engagement Strategy 2020-2025, which will be presented to Council in the coming months and placed on public display for feedback.”
