Lithgow Library will be hosting inspiring art works by both Roderick Heath & Prue Mogg during March.

Roderick Heath is a local writer and artist who looks for a subject that’s both technically challenging and has a strong human focus. Sketch Art by Roderick Heath, on display during March is inspired by the works of noted photographers and will form a stunning backdrop to the Library’s service desk.

Prue Mogg is a practising artist who likes to explore different techniques and media and to express herself through painting. She has completed a Diploma of Fine Arts, has had several solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions. ‘Encountering the Wild’ by Prue Mogg – is a follow-up from an exhibition held at Everglades National Trust in February 2019. Prue aims to capture the feeling of encountering wildlife in their natural environment – making some kind of gentle but awesome connection.

“It is always a pleasure to visit the Library and see the ever changing exhibitions and displays,” said Mayor Ray Thompson. “It is also great that the Library can provide opportunities for artists to display their work”.

The artworks will be on display at the Lithgow Library during opening hours throughout March. For more information contact the Library on 63529100.
