What do solar hot water, motion sensing tap fittings and low-flow shower heads have in common?
They are all installed by plumbers, and this Wednesday 11 March 2020, Gympie Regional Council are inviting you to celebrate all things plumbing at Memorial Park, Gympie as part of World Plumbing Day.
Plumbing plays an important role in everyone’s lives, from keeping a spotless kitchen to washing your clothes, flushing toilets, watering the garden, personal hygiene, showering and bathing and, of course, ensuring clean drinking water. Plumbing is the key component to get water where it is required.
Without plumbing, there would be no hot water to shower in, no gas for cooking and no air conditioners to cool your home.
Head down between 7am and 10am this Wednesday to enjoy a free bacon and egg roll (vegetarian and vegan options available), meet some of our local traders and plumbers, take home some goodies from our local traders and find out more on how our region’s plumbers are helping the community.
