To keep our community up to date with key Council decisions, outcomes and plans; here is a snapshot summary from Council’s Wednesday 11 March 2020 ordinary meeting.
Vibrant Communities Council granted the refusal of a planning permit PLA0249/19 – Main South Road, Drouin (Old Butter Factory) to construct 12 dwellings and demolition of two sheds. Thriving Economy Council agreed to exit from Commonwealth and State funded direct care services from July 1 2022, to monitor the impacts of the aged care and disability sector changes for the community and to address and emerging issues. Organisational Excellence Council adopted the additions to the Councillor and Audit Committee Entitlements Policy. General Business Motion Cr Leaney moved a General Business Motion to publicly thank Alison Leighton for her hard work and service during her time as Chief Executive Officer with Baw Baw Shire Council. What's next?The next Council meeting will be from 5.30pm on Wednesday 25 March in the Fountain Room at the West Gippsland Arts Centre, Cnr Albert and Smith Streets, Warragul.
