The Wollondilly Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) has been working hard to prepare this year’s Youth Week calendar of events.
The theme for this 2020 is Speak up. Be involved. Get connected. Have fun.
Youth Week is celebrated around Australia each year in April and is targeted at young people aged 12-24 years. This year, Youth Week will be held between 1 and 9 April.
All activities are free, thanks to the funding provided by the NSW Government, Council and Bendigo Bank.
Wollondilly Mayor Matthew Deeth said, “Council has some fantastic events planned for Youth Week”.
“This is a great time to celebrate young people in our community and we hope to give them access to activities that they might not normally be able to afford or be able to travel to.”
