During runway maintenance between March and June, some residents may notice more or fewer planes flying overhead from Perth Airport, depending on which runway is closed for upgrade work. Perth Airport has advised they are undertaking major resurfacing works on both runways, requiring the main runway and the cross runway to be temporarily closed at various times.
