Gympie Regional Council is inviting members of the public to attend Neighbour Day.
A series of events will be held from 8.00am Saturday 28 March until late Sunday 29 March, across the Gympie region.
Neighbour Day is Australia’s annual celebration of community that encourages people to connect with those who live nearby.
This year, community halls across the Gympie region are hosting Neighbour Day/Halls Open Day events and invite you to come along to catch up with friends or meet new people in your community.
Activities planned across the region are BBQ’s at Mothar Mountain Public Hall and Woolooga Community Hall, lifestyle expo at Kandanga Public Hall, afternoon tea at Long Flat Hall and Theebine Memorial Hall, lunch and music at Wolvi Hall and a family fun afternoon at Kandanga Creek Community Hall.
Entry to these halls are free and opening hours vary for each venue. For more details, contact the participating halls directly.
