We are aware of the statement made by the Prime Minister today, informing the community as of Monday 16 March 2020, non-essential gatherings of more than 500 people are not to take place.
More information will be provided by the government next week.
We are in the process of reviewing our events, and will provide regular updates and information as changes are made.
Thursday 12 MarchWe are monitoring the situation and following advice provided by both NSW and Federal Government Health Agencies. At this stage the Government has advised that 'people should continue with their usual activities and that there's no reason to stop going to community activities'.
Based on this, Council is still operating business-as-usual and proceeding with our upcoming events.
While the situation is evolving, the health and safety of our community will always be paramount. Council is continuing to monitor the situation and we will seek direction from the Government. Should their directions change, we will review services and events.
