Test bore drilling to commence in Bombala and Delegate this week

Snowy Monaro Regional Council advises that a drilling team will commence test bore drilling in Bombala from Wednesday 18 March 2020.
Council previously approved the proposal to sink test bores and approvals to drill at both sites were granted in late February. The results from the test bores will provide data for the options study required as part of the funding agreement for the Bombala and Delegate water supply upgrades.
The drilling team will arrive on-site in Bombala from Tuesday 17 March and will likely commence drilling from Wednesday 18 March. Once completed the team will relocate to undertake testing in Delegate later in the week.
