Right now an exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Labourer to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in Moranbah. As part of the Parks and Recreation Department, this position will report to the Team Leader - Parks and Recreation and is responsible for carrying out grounds maintenance of community usage areas including sportsgrounds, parks, open space and cemeteries for the Engineering and Infrastructures across Isaac Regional Council.
ABOUT YOU
At least 12 months experience in a similar role Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics, general maintenance and/or gardening Basic written communication skills Ability to discuss and resolve issues/problems politely and respectfully Relevant certification for the operation of plant & equipment, horticulture and poison operations White Card (Construction Industry) C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence LR Class Drivers Licence (desirable) Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment and behavioural testingBENEFITS
Salary $51,125.53 - $52,151.47 per annum + allowances Nominally 38 hours per week 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading 12% super in accordance with Council policy RDO’s in accordance with Council policyPosition Description
