Right now an exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Team Leader - Parks and Recreation to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate based in Clermont.

As part of the Parks and Recreation Department, this position will report to the Overseer - Parks and Recreation and is responsible for assisting to program, organise and deliver parks and recreation operational and capital programs and shall provide the operational leadership of parks and recreation activities.

ABOUT YOU

Knowledge of Local Government administrative systems, processes and service functions of the various departments within Council Demonstrated ability to allocate workflows and resources to achieve works program objectives Well-developed communication skills both oral and written including use of Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated supervisory & leadership experience within parks and recreation teams, preferably in Local Gov’t Knowledge and/or experience in in horticulture or parks and gardens maintenance Tertiary quals relevant to infrastructure (min Cert III) or other significant demonstrated experience in a similar role White Card (Construction Industry) Current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence

BENEFITS

Salary $66,194.66 - $80,618.25 per annum plus allowances Nominally 38 hours per week RDO’s in accordance with Council policy 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading 12% super in accordance with Council policy
